A Level 2 House Survey (also known as a Home Survey Level 2) is a detailed report carried out by a qualified surveyor following a physical inspection of the property. It offers a more in-depth look at the condition of the property compared to a basic valuation. What does the surveyor inspect during the survey?
The surveyor will examine both the interior and exterior of the main building, as well as any permanent outbuildings. They will inspect all areas that are safely and physically accessible but won’t lift fitted carpets, floor coverings, or floorboards as part of the survey.
What types of properties is a Level 2 Survey suitable for?

What happens if the survey reveals problems?
